Choosing the Appropriate Zipper Instead of Use
  • Metal oxide zippers can stain light-colored fabrics during washing and use.
  • Therefore, do not use metal oxide zipper on light colored clothes.
  • Please choose ecotex certified zippers that do not harm human health and the environment.
  • Definitely do not use hidden zippers on tight clothes.
  • Be sure to ask your customer representative for zipper performance tests, quality certificates and ecotex certificates in order to make the right decision on zipper selection.
  • Use special locked zippers and delayed-burning zippers on baby and children's clothing.
  • When determining the zipper type, pay attention to the fabric weight and thickness. Never choose thin type zippers for thick fabrics.

  • Chemical processes can have unexpected effects on zippers. Please test the zippers in advance. Otherwise, the teeth may darken, the coating may be removed, the film tapes may be removed.
  • In order to shorten the chemical processing process,do not increase the temperature above the standard and do not reduce the pH value below the standard. The heated metal parts of the zipper can cause burn spots on the clothing.
  • After chemical treatments, rinse and dry the zippers thoroughly so that there are no chemicals on them. Otherwise, the metal parts of the zipper may rust.
  • When sewing hidden zippers to the product, be sure to install a special hidden zipper sewing device on your sewing machine. Otherwise, you will have problems.
  • Make sure that solutions and plush in the manufacture of boots, shoes and bags do not damage the teeth of your zippers.
  • Do not try to close the zipper of an overfilled bag by applying excessive force.
  • If an excessive load is placed on the teeth, the teeth may come out of the ribbon. In such a case, the zipper should be closed only in such a way that its teeth are side by side and the curator can pull it comfortably.
  • Monophile teeth are sensitive on all nylon zippers, including bootlaces. As a result of the slightest crush, damage and deterioration, the zipper may become inoperable.
  • Before planting, care should be taken not to smear adhesive materials and solutions on the teeth. Otherwise, the zipper may not be opened due to deterioration in the teeth.
  • Make sure that the parts such as the lining or cover that can be used at the bottom of the zippers are away from the zipper teeth and the cursor (moving mechanism).
